Getting Started

1.⁠ ⁠Choose a Membership Plan

If you’re interested in listing your product, service, or pre-loved items, your first step is to visit our Membership plans, underneath the Get involved page and select the plan that best suits your needs.
• All membership plans are monthly
• There are no contracts or tied down long-term commitments
• You can upgrade or cancel at any time

2.⁠ ⁠Create Your Seller Account

Once your membership payment is complete, head to the Get Involved menu and click Join as a Seller.

From there, you can:
• Create your account
• Add your business or marketplace listings
• Upload details, images, and contact information

3.⁠ ⁠Approval & Going Live

After submitting your seller account:
• Accounts are reviewed and approved within 1–2 hours
• Once approved, your listings will go live on the website
• You can start connecting with the local community immediately

Important Information About Payments

Please note:
• Stortford Local does not handle payments on behalf of businesses or marketplace sellers
• We do not process transactions between sellers and customers
• Each listing includes direct contact options such as phone numbers, email addresses, websites, or social links

This allows customers to communicate and transact directly with you, keeping things simple and transparent.
