• No long-term contracts—businesses can cancel or choose not to renew after their subscription expires.
• After payment, businesses must provide all necessary details, including images, website links, and contact information.
• Listings go live within 24 hours after review, provided all necessary information is submitted.
3. Customer Transactions & Liability
• Stortford Local is not involved in any transactions between businesses and customers.
• Customers should conduct their own research and due diligence before making any payments.
• We are not responsible for any disputes, financial losses, or issues arising from customer-business interactions.
4. Customer Reviews
• Business owners are responsible for managing customer reviews on their ad posts.
• Reviews must come from genuine customers who have used the business’s services.
• Stortford Local does not remove or edit genuine reviews unless they violate our guidelines (e.g., offensive or fraudulent content).
5. Content & Accuracy
• Businesses are responsible for ensuring that all provided information is accurate, legal, and up to date.
• Stortford Local reserves the right to remove any misleading, inappropriate, or false content.
6. Platform Changes & Termination
• We may modify or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time without prior notice.
• We reserve the right to remove any business listing that violates our policies or receives consistent negative feedback.
7. Intellectual Property
• All content on Stortford Local, including text, images, and design, is owned by us or licensed for use. Businesses may only use their listing content for promotional purposes.
8. Limitation of Liability
• Stortford Local is not liable for any direct, indirect, or incidental damages arising from the use of our platform.
• Businesses and customers use our services at their own risk.
9. Privacy & Data Protection
• We respect user privacy and handle all personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
• Businesses and customers agree to our Privacy Policy when using the platform.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of United Kingdom, and any disputes will be resolved in the relevant courts of that jurisdiction.
